I sat in on the SGI training for Parts autonomy last week and I could hear many concerns from shops in attendance.
The webinar at noon today will answer most of your questions, sign up even if you cannot attend so that we can send you a copy of the recording for you to review later.
With SGI’s Parts Autonomy (RPS) program now underway, SAAR has been working with our friends at ImEX to help shops get up to speed and positioned for success. To help shops get ahead of the curve, ImEX is now rolling out their RPS tool to Saskatchewan shops with a 90-day free trial during the pilot phase. This gives shops the opportunity to get familiar with the workflow, understand how RPS will impact their business, and start building good habits before financial reconciliation begins.
At this stage, SGI has not yet released all of the finalized data required to fully calibrate targets within the software. As a result, the tool is currently being launched as a tracking and workflow solution, with full target integration to follow as additional information becomes available from SGI.
ImEX will continue to update the platform to ensure accuracy and alignment with SGI as the program evolves.
Why this matters now:
-
Early adoption allows your team to get comfortable with the process during the training phase
-
Helps identify opportunities and gaps before targets are enforced
-
Positions your shop to maximize profit while staying compliant
ImEX is also hosting a live webinar session to walk through the tool, explain how RPS works in practice, and show how shops can use it to protect and improve their bottom line.

We strongly encourage shops to attend the webinar, as it will be a key step in understanding how to approach the upcoming SGI changes and get the most value out of the tool.
As always, SAAR will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.
